This 12-inch, 80-tooth ultra-crosscut blade provides fast, smooth cuts with less drag and less waste. This hand-tensioned and balanced blade has a 54 Rockwell hardness plate and C-9 (94 Diamond hardness) carbide for excellent performance and durability. By using quality materials to make a non-brittle plate that is harder than that of other blades, Matsushita blades are less apt to wobble or fracture. Having carbide teeth with C-9 (94 Diamond) hardness also means this blade will last longer than other blades. Unlike most blades which are only top ground, Matsushita utilizes a unique three-step grinding process to bevel the top and face of the tooth. This results in excellent smoothness with little, if any tearing, chipping, or feathering of the cut stock. Ultra-Crosscut blades are truly the ultra smooth performers. Use them on all woods for cutting cross-grain. They are not recommended beyond minimal ripping. They can be used for ripping, but the material must be fed slower to avoid overloading. The crosscut style is excellent for mitre box saws. Matsushita thin kerf blades are highly durable and provide fast, smooth cuts with less drag and less waste.
