When the Gales of November Turn Early November 18, 2001
Reviewer: rockinrodge I just received a pair of Bucket Boss True-Grip insulated gloves for by 43rd birthday. Let me start off by saying I have been a Bucket Boss fan for years and own many of their other products. I can't say that "gloves" were are the top of my wish list, or something that I would have thought Bucket Boss would do, by man, I'm glad they did! Although it hasn't been too cold in these parts lately, I've road tested the gloves a few of the chillier mornings and have been really pleased. First, the extended elastic closure around the wrist give you the secure feeling that wind, nor debris is gonna find its way into the glove. Although there seems to be plenty of insulation in the gloves, you still have plenty of dexterity and grip. The gloves have put up with some abuse, too and have stood up to the test with flying colors. I would recommend these gloves to anyone. I hope this helps! |
A great pair of Outdoor Work Gloves December 10, 2001
Reviewer:
David Lindamood This is an excellent pair of work gloves for the cold weather. I put them to the test this past weekend, working with Christmas trees in northern Michigan. My hands remained warm for the entire two days in the sub-freezing temperature. The gloves were flexible enough to handle the equipment very easily, such as the chain saw, bow saw, trimmer, and even tying the string. Best of all, the clothes were strong enough to resist the 'scratching' of the pine needles and bark. The leather and Kevlar patches were strong to the wear, yet flexible to the touch. Whereas the glove is somewhat water resistant, it is not waterproof. It also breathes very well, so even an active operation will allow the hand to not feel confined. An excellent outdoor cold weather work glove!! |
