This 10-inch sliding compound miter saw is a top-of-the-line machine with a powerful 15 amp motor, electric blade brake, and a carbide-tipped blade. With an extra large capacity, it cuts up to a 4-by-12 at 90 degrees and 4-by-8 at a 45-degree miter. The compound action allows easier cutting of crown moldings because the table and blade can be set at the proper angle to keep the molding flat on the table. Lightweight and portable, the saw weighs only 51 pounds. Quick-action miter lock eliminates the use of traditional screw locks for faster miter setting. Nine detents at common angles allow quick set up for miter cuts. The patented base has indentations that fit over 2-by-4's for easy set up on sawhorses as well as workbenches. When mounted on a pair of longer 2-by-4's, adding shorter 2-by-4's crosswise makes a quick jobsite work table. The included dust bag provides dust collection. Also equipped with a handy work clamp for preventing material shifting or tipping for safer, more accurate cutting. Two-year limited warranty on machines, parts, and accessories.
