The 1613AEVSK is a newly upgraded router kit with many feature
enhancements. The new base has a 3-5/16-inch wide base opening with 2-inch
subbase opening making it possible to use larger bits. The unit has a 12
amp, 2 HP, 11,000-22,000 RPM (no-load) variable-speed motor with
soft-start plus Constant Response Circuitry that maintains speed under
load. The 1613AEVSK also has the popular microfine bit depth adjustment
system that allows precise depth adjustment even after setting the plunge
position. The enhanced plunge action is very smooth. The router's
one-piece armature shaft provides accuracy and long bit shank capacity.
The 1613AEVSK also features the Bosch-exclusive Precision Centering Design
for centering optional templet guides. Bit changing is easy thanks to the
convenient front spindle lock. The unit includes a removable tool-free
template guide adapter, reversible dust extraction hood with adapter for
1-1/4-inch, 1-1/2-inch and 35 mm vac hoses, 1/2- and 1/4-inch
self-releasing collets, comfortable drop-forged wrench, flip-down chip
shield and carrying case.
